From hydroseeding to America's #1

Peter A. Lyford Inc, founded by Peter Lyford and currently owned by his children, Liana Lyford Windle and Ryan Lyford, started as a hydroseed company specializing in lawn installation, wetlands mitigation, and erosion control. Over the years, the business evolved to include a lawncare franchise with branches in Hermon and Gorham, ME.

Originally part of the Scotts LawnService family, a significant chapter unfolded in 2016 when we merged with TruGreen and Scotts LawnService. This marked a transformative moment for our Bangor location, making it an integral part of the TruGreen family.

Today, our TruGreen franchise joyfully tends to lawns in the greater Bangor, Waterville, and Augusta areas, as well as the scenic coastal regions, including Bar Harbor, Blue Hill, and Camden/Belfast. Whether for commercial or residential needs, our services encompass lawn care, weed control, grub control, mosquito control, core aeration, tree and shrub care, and pest control.
